How strictly is MettleCI bound to the version of Jira we're using?

Must we always remain up-to-date?

MettleCI interacts with Jira using the Jira REST API. MettleCI is compatible with the version of Jira API <some reference to the version of Jira API we support here>. Current and future versions of MettleCI are, and will remain, compatible with this version of Jira API, so there is no requirement to upgrade your version of Jira when you install new versions of Jira.
